Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dinamika ketundukan dan perlawanan dalam spiritualitas kenabian Gereja Masehi Injili di Timor (GMIT) dalam relasi gereja dan negara sejak tahun 1947 hingga konteks kontemporer. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain teologis-historis melalui analisis dokumen gereja, literatur teologi publik, dan kajian sosial-politik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa spiritualitas kenabian GMIT tidak berada dalam posisi tunduk atau melawan secara absolut, tetapi berkembang melalui dialektika antara ketundukan strategis dan perlawanan profetik. Penelitian ini merumuskan Model Segitiga Profetik GMIT yang terdiri atas discernment teologis, ketundukan strategis, dan perlawanan profetik sebagai kerangka memahami peran gereja lokal dalam ruang publik. Model ini menunjukkan bahwa gereja dapat membangun relasi konstruktif dengan negara sekaligus mempertahankan fungsi kritis terhadap ketidakadilan sosial.
